This volunteer team was led by Tony Tan (U. Michigan), Chair of the annual DUAL Ball and Executive Committee member of DUAL, in his and DUAL's charity, fund raising, and volunteer activities for their designated NGO for 2003, CARE. CARE is the Children-At-Risk-Empowerment, its activities and mission include empowering youth at risk. The documents and insights are generously shared by Tony and the DUAL alumni in the volunteer team.

This article outlines the Process of Content Contribution and Categorization to DUAL DS CMS.

Background: Persons wishing to provide content for posting on the DUAL DS CMS should first read the Terms & Condition sections, particularly regarding the posting of content. All content posted can not have trademarks, copyrights or other intellectual property claims against it, and will ultimately be put into the “public domain” upon uploading to the DUAL DS CMS.

Generally we would expect content to be provided in any of the following formats:

·	MS PowerPoint presentation
·	MS Word or Adobe PDF format
·	ScreenCam or equivalent
·	Computer Based Training application (text, voice & image)

(In the future we will consider accepting other non-electronic types of content; but these will require a more sophisticated distribution system than our resources currently allow for).

The content should clearly target a particular audience and a definable expertise level (e.g. Application for World Bank grants for beginners). Before the content is officially posted on the DUAL DS CMS, it will be vetted by the DUAL DS CMS content area captains to check for:

·	Appropriateness
·	Proper subject and audience-sophistication level categorization
·	IP issues

Once these issues are visited, the content will be uploaded and made available to the general public via the DUAL DS CMS search engine.

Uploading Content: Once you have content that you wish to make available to the DUAL DS CMS, you should compress the relevant file(s) using a commercially available compression tool such as WINZIP (http://www.winzip.com),
If the file is larger than 1 megabyte. You can then send an email to this address dualdscms@yahoo.com and
In the subject line please include one of the following Categories that best describes the subject matter of the content:

· IT/Computers/Technology
· Micro Enterprise/Finance
· System Dynamics
· Human Capital Development
· Miscellaneous

Additionally, your email body should include a sentence summarizing the content, along with the complexity level (e.g. intro, advanced). You may also provide some key words or phrases relevant to the content that will assist end-users in locating your document via the DUAL DS CMS search engine. For example, a document that deals with the topic of setting up an independent IT consulting practice might include keywords such as consulting, IT, freelance.

Once your content has been received, the relevant content area captain will review it. During the review, you may be asked for additional information or assistance. If this is necessary, you will be contacted via the email account that you used to post the content originally.
