The DUAL Development & Skillbase Initiative ("DUAL DS") is a DUAL working committee which organizes programs, events, and fosters allliances which utilize member skills for social and economic good, in line with the ideals of the institutions of higher learning of DUAL alumni.

Through the years DUAL DS has organized events with institutions such as the Singapore Institute of International Affairs ("SIIA"), the Singapore International Foundation ("SIF"), the Singapore Management University ("SMU") and National University of Singapore ("NUS").

Along the lines of spurring innovation, intellectual capital, and development for the public good, DUAL DS has organized competititions with:
  1. The MIT Club of Singapore and 7 MBA level classes at the National University of Singapore ("NUS") (please see http://www.dual.org.sg/dualds/archives/000001.html#more) and with,

  2. the Singapore Management University ("SMU") the DUAL-SMU Technology and World Change Competition (please see http://www.dual.org.sg/dualds/smu/).

DUAL DS event notices have been disseminated through monthly DUAL email mailings to alumni and are listed on the DUAL homepage.
